I know we run auto start, but was wondering if there is any way to check out the timer that fires the tree? I have heard several people, along with myself talk about how long it takes our tree to drop after both cars are staged. And sometimes it really hangs you out before it drops? Just wondering if that's something we could fix or not?

I will check where our autostart settings are at. We changed the timeout last year but i don't think anything else was changed. But while we are on the subject how many of our racers would prefer to go to the zero based tree ? In other words a perfect light would be 000 instead of 500 and your redlights would read in minus [-015 would be the same as 485] I know most all of the other tracks have went this way.Just curios what you guys think?

It dont matter to me on the zero based tree deal. i understand both settings so either way is fine with me, i just know most tracks seem to have the same auto start settings that drop the tree except ours. So if we could get that changed that wavould be great. But then i will have to find another excuse for that .030 reaction time out of the blue! lol

I don't know if i can help with the excuses but i did go check the computer and we were 0.3 over were it is supposed to be. I know that ain't much but 3 tenths with the built in variable could sure seem like a long time if your focused on the tree! It will be reset before this weekend! Thanks "Bee"

Are the jrs. running with autostart ? The tree has come down several times as soon as the last car stages.

Garvin Lee, I have seen that happen several times. Even on me on 2-3 occassions. In the spro final Sat. night. I don't know what Lawton thought about it, but I thought it was super quick. I was like 58 and Lawton was 45 or something. Has anyone else noticed this?

The autostart settings are now set according to the IHRA and NHRA rule books which is where they will be set for the bracket finals. The juniors are not on autostart.

Do we use autostart on pit bike races? I always get surprised by the tree and have bad lights in my golf cart. It usually happens first rd. then in the buyback rd.

What was changed? Was the time after both are double lit? Yea , it looked like a few staged just in time.

I think the time after 3 bulbs are lite was changed, and a few got in just in time.

The only thing that was changed on the tree was the maximum time for the tree to fire after both cars are staged. It was changed from 1.2 to 0.9 with accutimes built in variance this means the tree should fire between 0.7 and 1.1 when on autostart. The time out is still set at 10 seconds for all classes except Jrs.

I dont think the track need's to change the tree to .000 keep it at .500 that is what every one is used to.
